Work Continues on

Hard to believe it, but it appears I am not needed for things to continue to go on in Rural Retreat! Ha.

New wall next to Fruit Cellar
 

Butch just keeps on going - he's like the little energizer bunny.

The fruit cellar is done, at least on the outside. No one sent me inside pictures so not not sure if that is still in progress. But the great wall builder couldn't let it just let this building be there  without there being a new wall nearby.  This used to be a grass mound with a couple of rocks. 

 

Last time you saw the wall

Finalized (I think) new wall and compost pile now moved

Okay last time we saw this wall in the blog, this is what it looked like. Well the "great wall builder" re-arthcitected the wall, extended the wall and also moved the compost pile, so that it can longer be seen from the street.  That will be a nice change for all those that go by I am sure!

Here's the stairs. Butch worked to widen the access path and make them a lot more stable and less of an adventure to walk up and down from the garage! Not sure if this is done yet or not.  The fact that there is a hose in the picture may indicate that the concrete holding stones in place isn't fully in or not fully set.  The anemones that are at the top of the stairs had just started to bloom when I left and I see they are in full bloom when this picture was taken. They are so pretty!

There's been some other work done too (electrical), but I have to figure out what the pictures Nelson sent me are of before I post them..

Was thinking not much in bloom but then took a walk around property and still lots of things blooming, vegetables and flowers. Here's just a few of the flowers. Still really pretty here.
